New PV Line in Tunisia

In December 2011 P.Energy has installed a new PV modules production line in Tunisia to NR-Sol.

NR-Sol is an historic Tunisian company part of the Bargaoui Group which manufactures textiles, natural fertilizers and works in international commerce, who has decided to add to his portfolio the production of photovoltaic modules.

This new factory is the first one in Tunisia and It was completely design and developed by P.Energy.On December 15 it will start  the production. The initial production capacity will be 25 MW but there are already plans to integrate with 50 up to 100 MW, depending on market demand.

This new assembly line is the best solution in terms of costs and production efficiency, thanks to the new technologies introduced such as:

- a new tabber and stringer of the Gold Series

- the new laminator plus series

- an in-line Sun Simulator

These new technologies has raise up the whole production efficiency up to 98% , thanks to a lowest breakage rate of 0,1% that  exceeding the market standards regarding the modules production.

P.Energy has supported NR-Sol during all phases: from the preliminary design, studying also the right position of the equipment in the factory that is more or less 1200 sqm.

Another important point is the support during the Certification and  for the provision of all the raw material and with a training too, studying also the best recipe to get high standard final products.

The production line works in three shifts with 12 operators for a total of 36 operators. It means that P.Energy with NR-Sol has created 36 new jobs.

NR-Sol thanks to the experience and the innovation of P.Energy, is the first PV module production in Tunisia and It will be the benchmark for Middle East and the North Africa.
