P.Energy MC04Ais a Class AAA sun simulator capable of measuring 80 modules per hour. Working with P.Energy MC04A, it can be put in line, as backend of an automatic pv line, making the production line integration straightforward and saving the factory footprint. Useable area is 1100 x 1900 mm (P.Energy MC04XL, the largest version of P.Energy MC04A has an useable area of 2050x1300 mm). All size of modules can be tested in the face down position.

Electronic Unit

- Power: Reproducibility better than ±0.5%. Absolute accuracy depends on the accuracy of the module used for the calibration of the system.
- Monitor Cell: Crystalline silicon cell calibrated against the CEC JRC Ispra certified ESTI sensor. Gain 25 mV @ 1000 W/m2, 25°C. Temperature measured and irradiance signal corrected accordingly.
- Ambient Temperature: IC sensor (LM35). Accuracy ±1°C within 10-40°C. Operation temperature 10-40°C.
